Positive NPR This is an enemies-to-lovers plot at its best — with sparks flying, banter that\'s fiery but never mean, and a palpable sexual tension. By the time Sabrina and Nick reach their happy ending, you wonder how they were ever at odds.

Rave NPR For a book about a man who is certain he cannot feel, The Bride Test sure packs an emotional wallop. Esme\'s moments of recognition of her own worth—in a world that doesn\'t want to see it—and her journey to make a life in America is heart-achingly beautiful. I totally wept through the last quarter of this novel (so many feels!) and it was so worth it for a HEA [Happily Ever After] that is both surprising and perfect, and everything you want a romance novel to be.

Positive NPR \"There is so much to love in this romance: sexy, sporty, highly competent characters having a sexy, sweaty, complicated relationship. But in a novel so much about preventing mass shootings, it\'s startling that Loren doesn\'t even mention gun control measures. That would take some of the onus off individuals to stop the violence, and it would go some way to absolving people like Shaw and Taryn of the burden of needing to protect everyone, even at the expense of their own happiness.\

Positive NPR All the familiar beats are there, seamlessly fitting in this vibrant modern setting. Why read yet another adaptation of P&P? Do it for Zuri—a richly drawn, real and relatable version of Elizabeth Bennett who really brings pride to the story ... Her love of her family, neighborhood, way of life and aspirations shine through every line, especially in the poems she writes. And do it for Zoboi\'s description of Darcy ... Pride is one for the keeper shelf.

Positive NPR Marlee is a fierce, loving and sassy heroine, determined to be independent for the first time in her life—even if it means sacrificing the best sex (and the best relationship) she\'s ever had. Her love story isn\'t about which football player is The One for her, it\'s about a woman claiming her independence on her own terms, even when a hunky guy keeps coming to the rescue.

Sometimes all it takes for love to blossom is a chance encounter — or a murder and a mystery ... The writing will appeal to readers who like their historicals to sound historical, but character\'s point of view is pleasantly modern.

Positive NPR I was totally charmed from the first page of When Katie Met Cassidy by Camille Perri and utterly hooked by the end of the first chapter. Perri\'s lively and funny voice brings a fresh perspective to that familiar and beloved story of a single girl finding love in the big city.
