PositiveNerdspanI enjoyed following the different characters as they learn of the comet and how they react to the news and as they face their own mortality. Some people hunker down and take in friends or even strangers, while others loot and pillage their neighborhoods in simple acts of survival. Her prose is straightforward and the story oscillates between past and present, from various character’s points of view. Holroyde’s debut is perfect for fans of science fiction and, more specifically, apocalypse fiction.
