Characters come in and out of the story over the span of a few dozen pages, and no character other than Rudd is memorable or fleshed out. Rudd frequently alludes to his own roguishness, but most of his behavior is well within the ethical norms of the legal profession ... Despite these flaws, for fans of Mr. Grisham’s work Rogue Lawyer is a fine addition to his oeuvre.
