Katherine A. Powers reviews books widely, in addition to which she contributes a regular column, “A Reading Life,” to the Barnes & Noble Review and an audio-book review column to the Washington Post. She received the National Book Critics Circle Nona Balakian Citation for Excellence in Reviewing in 2013 and is the editor of Suitable Accommodations: An Autobiographical Story of Family Life: the Letters of J. F. Powers, 1942 -1963.
